There probably are so few photos of nude red-haired men because there are so few red-haired men in general. Red hair occurs naturally in less than 2 percent of human population, though more often in certain regions such as Ireland and other parts of northwestern Europe. Natural red-hairedness rarely appears in most parts of Asia.
It's genetic, just as blacks are more common in Africa rather than in Scotland. The genetics of red hair were surmised for years but not identified until 1997. The same genetics tends to make the skin fairer and more susceptible to sunburn and skin cancer.
No wonder few photos of nude red-haired men exist: The gents are uncommon to begin with and they have the good sense not to stay in the sun all day long.
